As a member of the Design for Community course at the University of Michigan-Flint, I had the opportunity to partake in many community centered design projects. One project that was extremely meaningful to me was the creation of a creative guide for a local assisted living facility called Kith Haven, and more specifically their memory care wing. In this project, our class focused on participant observation and research to guide our decisions, with a focus on creating a more positive and creative environment within the Kith Haven community. I had the pleasure of creating the layout and design for the following guide.
